I understand by utilizing RiskProducts.com for employment screening investigations, I am bound to adhere to the regulations set forth by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and I am required under federal law to do the following:
You will use our service to investigate either (a) suspected misconduct related to employment or (b) compliance with federal, state, or local laws and regulations, the rules of a self-regulatory organization, or any of your preexisting written policies. You will not provide our report to anyone not permitted by FCRA Section 603(x)(1)(D). If you later take adverse action against the subject based on the report, you will comply with the special procedures in FCRA Section 603(x)(2).
You will use our service to investigate for purposes permitted by the FCRA, but not listed above. Examples of these purposed include: (a) credit or insurance primarily for personal, family, or household purposes; (b) reviewing or collecting an account of the subject; (c) determining the subjects eligibility for a license or other government benefit; (d) assessing the credit or prepayment risks of or valuing an existing credit obligation as a potential investor or servicer or current insurer; or (e) a legitimate business transaction initiated by the subject.
You will use our service in a way that means the information we report to you is not a consumer report. You will reimburse us for any claims or losses that arise if your use makes the information be a consumer report.
